EGYPT, Alexandria. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Potin Tetradrachm (23mm, 12.30 g, 12h). Dated RY 3 (AD 239/240). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eirene standing facing, head left, holding olive branch and transverse scepter; L Γ (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 4720; K&G 72.57; Emmett 3403.3. Dark brown patina with green and red deposits/encrustations. Good VF.
